"what a fabulous experience we had"
"I am writing this letter to tell you what a fabulous experience we had with our recent relocation. Relocating can be very traumatic, especially when moving to an area in which you are totally unfamiliar. Jill Biggs, assisted my wife and me (and still is) during our recent relocation and house finding trips. My wife and I got to the Hoboken/Jersey City area, knowing close to nothing about it. Jill was our assigned realtor and took care of us from day one. She has an outstanding knowledge about this area having lived here most of her life and working as realtor for a number of years. She not only provided us with an endless list of properties to look at, but introduced us to the different neighborhoods in great detail, e.g. including bus stops and schedules, grocery stores, schools, etc.. Jill was very interested in getting to know us and our preferences better so she could advice us accordingly. We always had the feeling that the only thing she cared about was us being happy and us finding a place that we really liked. We were also happily surprised that she put her own financial interests clearly behind ours, she showed us numerous places that were much cheaper than others that we had almost committed to – simply because she felt that we were only 99% satisfied with the more expensive properties. This is something you rarely find with realtors. I also want to mention, that she has that kind of personality that lets her walk constantly the extra mile for us. For example, she spent lots of late hours (after 7pm) looking through listings in her office with us, she oversaw the inspection for us and she showed the place to a contractor so he could make estimates of a few modifications while we were at the West Coast. We closed yesterday and are extremely happy with our new home and Jill as our realtor (who still after closing, offers her help and wants to share her experiences about the area with us). I believe that any future relocation transferees will be extremely lucky to have her as their Realtor"

Remodeling and Renovations >Show And Sell
Real estate agents are often asked "What is the best way to show and sell a home?" Almost every agent can tell you a story about meeting with a prospective seller who has just completed a lot of work to prepare their home for the market. It can be difficult for a real estate agent to tell the seller that their renovations were not the best changes to effectively market their home.
If you are considering making any improvements prior to selling your home, the best advice is to consult with your agent before you make any changes. An experienced real estate agent can provide you with information that can help you decide what kind of improvements will set the stage for a sale. Whether it is paint and wallpaper, remodeling the bathrooms, or updating the kitchen, your real estate agent can guide you toward "neutral" choices which can assist the buyer's imagination.
