October 2026 Snapshot
Weehawken Housing Market Statistics: October 2026
October was a steady month in Weehawken, with eight closings spread across condos, single-family houses, and multi-family buildings. In a market this small, any single month’s median says more about which homes happened to close than about where values are heading. Here’s what sold, and what’s on the market now.
The takeaway: Weehawken stayed seller-friendly in October. The average home sold for a touch over its asking price, a sign sellers kept the edge even in a quieter month. Take the median with a grain of salt, though: with only eight sales, it swings on which homes close, so the throughline matters more than any one month’s figure.
Median price per square foot is omitted this month because too few of the closed sales reported usable square footage to produce a reliable figure.

The Trend
Weehawken Home Price Trends (August to October 2026)
Don’t read the quarter as a rise and then a fall in values. Weehawken closes only a handful of homes a month, so the median lurches with whatever happens to sell, a couple of waterfront condos one month, a few hillside multi-families the next. The swings here are composition, not appreciation or decline. What stays steady, and tells you more, is that homes keep selling at or near asking month after month, and mortgage rates rising into the low-7% range through October haven’t changed that. For a market this size, the throughline is the signal and any single month is noise.
With only eight closings, the median swings on which homes sell. What held steady: homes sold for 101.4% of asking on average, with 63% at or above list, while 51 active listings, about 6.4 months of supply, give buyers room to negotiate.
The Two Weehawkens
What Types of Homes Sold in Weehawken This Month?
October’s eight closings were a true cross-section of Weehawken housing: three condominiums, one single-family house, two two-family homes, and two three-family buildings. The condos carried a median of $1,125,000 and included the month’s top sale, an $1,800,000 waterfront unit at 1000 Avenue at Port Imperial, while the multi-family buildings ran from the high $700,000s to north of $1 million. That range captures the two Weehawkens in one month: the Port Imperial condos down at the river and the established multi-family blocks up on the hill, each pulling the median a different way depending on which happens to trade.
